Artists seek to recreate the awesome beauty of God's world on canvas using paint
Searching for the perfect hue to show the sometimes brilliant, sometimes subdued tones of nature
Their best efforts are muted images without fragrance, sound, or life
But the artist of the universe created the splendor of it all with nothing but the spoken word "Let there be"
Sculptors seek to recreate the essence of man using knife and stone
Chipping away hour after hour, day after day until a lifeless body appears
A body that cannot move, breathe or speak
But the sculptor of the universe created man with nothing but the spoken word and dust of the ground
And gave him life with God-breath
Authors seek to create masterpieces using the written word
The;y toil and labor to choose just the right words and phrases to bring their story to life
But the author of the universe is the living Word
His words bring life, his words are life
Creator of the universe help us to understand and remember who you are and who we are
And that all our best efforts are but shadowy images of your creative power
And our best works are those that are done to give you glory
